As a
Chemical Laboratory Technician
, you will support our clients and our innovation engineers in projects focused on industrial water purification and water quality monitoring. You will play a hands-on role in experimental design, data collection, and the maintenance of testing infrastructures.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with good public transport connection (Tram 10) and free car parking.
How You’ll Make an Impact:

Water analysis:
Perform water analysis on samples such as wastewater, drinking water, and ultrapure water using techniques like ICP-MS, IC, GC, LC, TOC, and complexometric/titrimetric procedures.

Material analysis:
Perform analysis of ion exchange resins, polymers, membranes, electrodes, and chemical products.

Data & reporting:
Collect, interpret, and record data to establish technical reports.

Quality control:
Support Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure compliance with standards.

Lab maintenance:
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Collaboration:
Work with international teams, suppliers, and customers.

Experimental support: Assist with the design, installation, and operation of pilot and full-scale water treatment testing setups.
Qualifications:

You have either a Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or a bachelor degree in Science, preferably in Analytical Chemistry.

Professional experience (2-5 years) in analytical chemistry. Experience with LIMS is an added value.

You like strong diversity tasks and hands-on work in technical labs/workshops/chemical labs.

You show self-initiative and creativity, you are flexible and able to work under pressure.

You have a good team-oriented working capability with excellent communication skills to work in close co-operation with our other internal international departments, suppliers and customers.

English-knowledge for daily business use. German, French or other languages are an added value.

You are Swiss or EU citizen or have a C Swiss resident permit.
