This position reports to:
Production Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will operate process equipment and machinery to convert raw materials or semi?finished goods into components or finished parts for end products — at the right time and in the required quality. You will carry out your assigned tasks daily in accordance with agreed workflows, ABB standard processes, and safety guidelines, and you will report any deviations. In addition, you will operate machines according to the operating manual, work plan, and/or production order.

Your Main Responsibilities
•
Performing routine machine setups, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of simple wear parts
•
Ensuring regular standard maintenance of equipment, tool setup, programming tasks, troubleshooting, and reporting malfunctions; maintaining detailed records of setups, repairs, and maintenance activities
•
Monitoring and documenting good parts, scrap parts, and finished products
Qualifications for the Role
•
Completed vocational training as a plastics technologist or toolmaker
•
At least 5 years of practical experience in injection molding and extrusion, including machine setup, start-up, and troubleshooting
•
Skilled in setting up, adjusting, and optimizing injection molding machines, tools, hot runner systems, and process parameters
•
Expertise in sampling new injection molding tools, conducting initial production runs, and preparing complete production and quality documentation
•
Solid understanding of quality standards, safety and environmental regulations, and practical application of 5S and structured process control
•
Solid organizational skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and team spirit in an injection molding environment
•
Good German skills (spoken and written) for effective communication, documentation, and coordination in the production area
•
ERP knowledge (SAP)
