This role involves implementing network solutions, managing operational requests, and ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of network systems. As a senior expert, you will handle complex operational challenges, act as a key escalation point for critical network incidents and ensure high availability across all network layers. You collaborate closely with internal teams and international stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the network operations landscape.In this role, you are responsible to:Operate and maintain core network infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, internal firewalls, WLANs)Monitor and ensure the performance, availability, and security of network systemsAct as the primary escalation point for complex network incidents and operational challenges (1st and 2nd level support)Collaborate with the Network Engineering and Architecture teams to implement and enforce best practices Maintain accurate and comprehensive network documentation and diagramsWork closely with local and international IT teams to ensure operational alignment and service continuityDrive continuous improvement initiatives across network operations and automationTake the role of Engineer on Duty according to the planned schedule and role descriptionProfileDeep expertise in enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Riverbed)Strong experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and network segmentation Proficiency in managing WAN, LAN and WLAN environmentsHands-on experience with SIEM platforms (i.e Splunk)Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP or similar load balancing and application delivery technologiesService-oriented with customer focus.Solid grasp of IPv4/IPv6, QoS, VLANs, and multicast technologieProfessional requirementsBachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science5 years of relevant operational experience is anticipated for this role.Cisco CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Fortinet, CompTIA Network+ Certifications are expectedYou're missing one or two skills in the list, yet you're eager to learn?It's perfectly OK.
